Google Apps that you must know 'Exist'

I always wanted to write smthing abt the Google Apps ..Its been a long way for me since I have been using these apps ...
A mid sized s/w guy like me never really cared abt these Open Source Freely available apps until I discovered that .. these
apps really make a lot of our daily activities(ofcourse work related)
much less gruelsome.. (Ok enough of BS lets start..)
They are
Simple
Fast
Easy
Light weight (Big time google fan)

Google App Engine lets you run your web apps on the company’s infrastructure. What this ultimately translates to is that you can save your dough without sacrificing uptime and server resources. You can still use your web app on your own domain, but

if you’re really that strapped for cash, you can use their free domain as well (yourapp.appspot.com).

As a hard core S/W guy itseams I m supposed to open up with
a Software Utility App
